The life of being carried

 
I love this view of Clara. This is how she sees the world around her. I am constantly carrying her around because she loves her mama. She finally got a tooth (it only took 10 months.) I kept checking her bottom gums for signs of teeth, no luck, then Aaron pointed out that he felt one on the top. Crazy! One big front tooth. I also love the famous "Melissa scowl" on her face. Aaron says I do this alot.

It's a ('nother) Girl!

It's a girl!
Monday after laboring all day Clara Evelyn Elton was born at 5:41 pm. She weighed in as my biggest baby at 7lbs 1oz. I was shocked when the nurses and the doctor said "Look at all that hair!" She is a beautiful addition to our family of girls. I am home now and adjusting well to the sleepless nights.

The Mini-Boo

I took Moriah and Brooke to our local YMCA's "mini-boo" today. They had
a blast as I waddled around 9 months pregnant.

Tired Anyone?

My parents came to visit over general conference weekend. Brooke would not go to sleep or stay in her room the night they came into town. The adults wanted to watch a movie so the rule was she had to stay upstairs. During a break in the movie, Aaron found Brooke dead asleep on the stairs. We were all laughing.

FHE Pumpkin Decorating

For Family Home Evening we decorated our pumpkins from the pumpkin patch. After Moriah was done painting and glueing on feathers, she wanted to carve it. That we will save for another day!

The Pumpkin Patch

The girls and I visited a nearby pumpkin patch with Moriah's pre-school class. We enjoyed a hayride, a muddy pumpkin patch, and games.
